We eat outside because of necessity. Sometimes for pleasure, sometimes for business or just meeting. Or without any reason...
Eating outside should give pleasure and be far from anxiety.
We decided to open MEKAN to give pleasure and comforting.
With our friends and guests or alone, to have pleasure. And we wanted Mekan to be a concept place.
There are lots of kebab takeout's and restaurants ever where! We wanted Mekan to be different and special.
Focusing our core competence, we wanted to present doner to our guests’ taste; but not simple and ordinary as fast food Doner or takeout Doner!
All of our meat products are helal certified.
Meat from Balikesir region is carefully chosen and our chiefs elaborate Doner in our kitchen; The meat leaves are allowed to marinate in a special sauce for two days.
We cook Doner in the wood core in a hygienic environment;
Hand made Lavashes (thin flat piece of bread) are cooked in tandoor in wood core...
Hand made lavashes are at the right thickness and softness..
Our lavashes are served by our experienced craftsmen and cooked in a wood fire.
Not hard enough to fall apart, nor in a rubber-like style!
It's just right.
We serve Doner in many various ways ;
